Filipino is Resilient
The Philippines is constantly being
visited by strong typhoons yearly and even earthquakes that cannot be prevented
by happening, resulting the people to be protective and alert at all times.
Even before, the Filipinos are already good when it comes to our system of
responsiveness from such disasters. The effect of these natural disasters are
more likely to be diverse in our economic states. Devastated resources may lead
to economic depression. That’s why disaster preparation plays an important role
in our lives and it is said to be that it is a hindrance. Resiliency may be
committed through cooperation and preparation of each and every one in times of
struggles in our lives. This National Disaster Resilience Month with the theme:
“Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa Tunay na Pagbabago”, will guide us on becoming
more prepared country and be resilient.
