Earthquake Readiness
Earthquake are natural disasters that people cannot
prevent from happening. It is a dangerous disaster where many lives disappear.
The only thing that we can do is to prepare and pray. We have this earthquake drills lead by the
NDRRMC. Their objective is to train the students and teachers and to test the
various elements of their response plan in order to evaluate and make them
ready at all times. When the earthquake strikes, there’s no time to decide what
to do next and everyone must already know how to react appropriately.
Earthquake drills are exercise which are extremely important because they teach
us how to respond to the complications of an actual disaster. They help us
prepare in any kind of disasters. Thanks to NDRRMC and other agencies for
